The Met Ball aka Costume Institute Gala 2011

We all miss Alexander McQueen, but the show must go on; so what better way than to make an event in honor of the great designer? And not a simple event, but THE MET BALL, where fashion meets cinema, music and art, the Oscars of the East coast.
I don't use to like these exclusive events, with high-couture dresses, where everyone has its own page on Wikipedia; i prefer when fashion comes from suburbs, from people like me. But i can't not talk about Met Ball. So, here are some of the greatest outfits seen yesterday.
